RoadVoyage LU began in 2018 when a group of retired educators in Cork recognised the need for quality learning opportunities specifically designed for mature adults. We believe that curiosity and the desire to learn are lifelong gifts that should be nurtured and celebrated at every stage of life.

Creating Connections Through Learning
What started as informal coffee morning discussions about local history has grown into Cork's premier senior learning centre. Our founders, all experienced educators, saw how traditional adult education often overlooked the specific needs and interests of mature learners.
We designed our programmes from the ground up with seniors in mind. Smaller class sizes, comfortable seating, excellent lighting, and patient instruction create an environment where learning feels natural and enjoyable. Our courses range from practical digital skills to creative pursuits like watercolour painting and local history.
Today, we're proud to serve over 200 active learners each term. Our students often tell us that joining RoadVoyage LU has not only taught them new skills but has also created lasting friendships and renewed their sense of purpose and engagement with their community.
